Announcing Recent Promotions: Two New Principals

Chattanooga, TN, February 16, 2022

River Associates Investments, L.P. (“River Associates”), a longstanding lower-middle market private equity firm based in Chattanooga, TN, is pleased to announce the promotions of Blake Lewis and Stuart Vyule to Principal. Blake and Stuart have been integral to River Associates’ continued growth and success.

Blake joined River Associates in 2010. He began his career in investment banking where he was involved with capital financing and mergers and acquisitions. With over 14 years of experience, Blake has been involved in all areas of deal execution and portfolio management. He leads the evaluation of new investment opportunities and works with the investment team to negotiate transactions. Blake is a member of the board of directors of several River Associates portfolio companies including Premier Parking, TopDown, Trident Solutions, and Pelco Products and works closely with management teams on strategy and growth initiatives. Blake is actively involved in the development of junior team members at River Associates and supports numerous internal processes.

Stuart joined River Associates in 2011. His background includes over 13 years of experience across both leveraged finance and private equity investing. Stuart has been involved in all areas of deal execution and portfolio management and in recent years has progressed into a senior leadership role within River. He is responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, leading due diligence, negotiating transactions, and working closely with management teams post-acquisition. Stuart is a member of the board of directors of several River Associates portfolio companies including Double E, JBC Technologies, Specialty Fenestration Group, Yale Cordage and Hoskin Scientific.
