River Welcomes New Associate

Chattanooga, TN, July 22, 2024

River Associates is pleased to welcome Brett Martin to its investment team. Brett will support existing portfolio companies and conduct due diligence in evaluating new acquisition opportunities as the firm invests its eighth fund.

Prior to joining River, Brett worked as a Senior Investment Banking Analyst at Bourne Capital Partners in Charlotte, NC, where he was involved in all aspects of the M&A transaction process. He served numerous clients, including public, private equity-backed, and family/founder-owned businesses, all within the middle market. Bourne Partners is a financial services firm that provides investment banking and transaction advisory services to the global healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. Previously, Brett interned as a High-Yield Credit Analyst with Barings and served in the United States Army Reserves.

Brett received a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
